At a press conference on the socio-economic situation of Ho Chi Minh City on June 25, representatives of the Municipal Department of Culture and Sports stated that the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Sai Gon–Gia Dinh officially being honoured with the name of President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 – July 2, 2026) will take place on the morning of July 2 at the Reunification Hall, Ben Thanh Ward.

The Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC) in Hanoi held a ceremony on September 11 to mark its 60th anniversary (1962-2022) and receive the third-class Independence Order.
