The Project on Digital Transformation in the cultural sector to 2030, with a vision to 2045, has recently been approved by the Prime Minister. The project clearly defines a broad scope and target groups, with various requirements, overarching and specific objectives, along with groups of foundational and specialised tasks and solutions, to be implemented starting from 2026.

The Government’s issuance of Decision No. 611 approving the Project “Digital transformation in the cultural sector to 2030, with a vision to 2045” is a timely concretisation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on cultural development in response to the requirements of the digital era, where technology has become one of the pillars shaping how national cultural values are created, preserved and disseminated.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung has signed Decision No. 611/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2026, approving the Project on “Digital Transformation in the Cultural Sector until 2030, with a vision to 2045.”
