In the new phase of the Vietnamese revolution, particularly following the strategic orientations outlined at the 14th National Party Congress, the fight against corruption, wastefulness and negative phenomena has become an urgent requirement and a key task to safeguard national stability and development.

In 2025, under the centralised and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee and the concerted engagement of the entire political system, the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices continued to be carried out with determination, persistence, and the principle of “no forbidden zones, no exceptions.”

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has recently signed Decision No. 2821/QD-TTG, approving a plan to strengthen thematic inspections and supervision over the work of detecting, transferring, receiving, and addressing information about crimes, particularly in sectors prone to corruption and negative phenomena, and those covered by media reports.

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a conference in Ha Noi on November 15 to review the fight against corruption, wastefulness and negative practices within the NA’s Party Organisation during the National Party Congress’s 13th term.
