Filling the gap in the cinema value chain
Decree No. 189/2026/ND-CP, which the Government recently issued on the distribution and dissemination of films serving political tasks, has attracted considerable attention from the film industry. In addition to strengthening the legal framework governing film distribution, the decree also raises a long-standing concern: why do many meticulously produced films with profound historical, cultural, and educational values, still fail to achieve the level of public impact they deserve?
