Prime Minister Le Minh Hung ordered continued proactive disaster response and faster flood recovery in an urgent official dispatch on August 21.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who was in Algeria for an official visit, on November 20 evening (Ha Noi time) chaired an emergency online meeting with representatives of ministries, agencies and localities on urgent measures to respond to heavy rains, floods, and other natural disasters in several central provinces.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Official Dispatch No. 204/CĐ-TTg on October 30, directing leaders of ministries, sectors, and local authorities in the central region to take urgent and effective measures to respond to floods, promptly address the aftermath, and quickly stabilise people’s lives and restore production and business activities.
