On December 4, according to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydro-Meteorological Station, water levels on rivers across the province are fluctuating, with small floods appearing. On the Cai Phan Rang River at the Tan My Hydrological Station, flood levels are currently between alert level 1 and alert level 2 and continue to rise.

In recent days, images of houses in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa and other localities being isolated or submerged by floodwaters have caused nationwide concern and sympathy. Alongside the efforts of the entire political system, functional forces have been working day and night to carry out rescue operations, evacuate residents, and provide assistance. All levels, sectors, businesses, charitable organisations and people across the country are united in their support for the flood-hit areas.

In response to the complex and unpredictable flooding reported across Khanh Hoa province, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh on November 17 examined vulnerable areas and instructed local authorities to take the highest-level flood prevention measures.
