Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra has signed Decision No. 625/QD-TTg promulgating the Programme on Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence for the 2026–2030 Period.

 A ceremony was held in Ha Noi on November 11 to launch the National Action Month for Gender Equality and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response 2025, themed “Gender Equality and Safety for Women and Girls in the Digital Era.”

In an interview with Viet Nam Law Newspaper, Ngo Thi Tuyet Em, Director of the Centre for Women and Development in the Mekong region, emphasized the urgent need to invest in essential services for survivors of gender-based violence.

Today, the world has been developing with an unprecedented digitisation speed, and especially the COVID-19 pandemic has become a "catalyst" to accelerate the digital transformation process. In the first two decades of the 21st century alone, the number of people connected to the internet around the world increased from 350 million to more than 4 billion, and the number of mobile phone users also increased from 750 million to more than 5 billion.
