General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam met with representatives of several US corporations in New York on September 23 afternoon (local time), as part of his trip to the US to attend the high-level general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly and conduct bilateral activities.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited and held a working session with representatives from biopharmaceutical company Pfizer in New York on September 22 (local time), as part of his trip to attend the High-Level General Debate of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81) and conduct bilateral activities in the US.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation met with Vietnamese experts and intellectuals in the US, in New York on September 21 morning (local time).

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang held a meeting with Russian Minister of Defence Andrey Belousov on September 8, as part of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam’s state visit to Russia.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin agreed on the need to bring about stronger breakthroughs in trade cooperation, noting that the two economies have significant potential and complementary strengths, during their meeting in Moscow on September 8.
