Global gold prices continued to rise on August 7, reaching 4,368.2 USD/ounce, as investors regained optimism following the previous session's sharp rally. In the domestic market, however, gold trading remained relatively subdued despite the significant increase in global prices. SJC gold bars were quoted at 139.2 million VND/tael for buying and 142.2 million VND/tael for selling.

Global gold prices rebounded strongly on May 21 amid expectations of easing tensions in the Middle East and a weakening US dollar, trading at 4,502 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and SJC gold ring prices reversed course and increased in line with the global uptrend, traded at 162.4 million VND/tael and 161.9 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rose sharply on May 7 as positive diplomatic prospects between the US and Iran weakened the US dollar and oil prices, with gold trading at 4,738.4 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar and SJC gold ring prices both increased by an additional 1.5 million VND per tael, reaching VND 167.5 million per tael and VND 167 million per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on April 17 fluctuated within a narrow range, slightly increasing to 4,800.2 USD per ounce. Domestically, gold prices of major brands declined slightly, SJC gold bars were sold at 171 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices cooled down on April 7 amid escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which led to a sharp rise in oil prices, trading at 4,651 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices both declined by more than 500,000 VND per tael, listed at 172.5 million VND per tael and 172 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on March 20 continued to fall sharply, trading at around 4,660. 9 USD/ounce as investors carried out consecutive sell-offs to take profits amid rising fuel prices and a strengthening US dollar. Domestically, gold bar and gold ring prices followed the global downward trend, selling at around 176.1–175.8 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued to stand at around the 5,000 USD per ounce on February 11. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices remained unchanged in line with global movements, traded at 181 million VND per tael and 180.5 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices reversed course and cooled down on January 17, falling to 4,595.4 USD per ounce due to short-term profit-taking by investors after the precious metal repeatedly reached historical highs. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices continued to remain high, traded at 162.8 million VND per tael and 159.7 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on December 23 rose to a record high, trading at around 4,483.4 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and SJC gold ring prices continued their strong increasing momentum. SJC gold bars were listed at 159 million VND/tael, while SJC gold rings climbed to 155.6 million VND/tael.

Global gold prices on November 25 reversed sharply upwards, trading at 4,144.4 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and rings both climbed by 2.5 million VND per tael, quoted at 152.9 million VND per tael and 151 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on November 20 fell significantly, trading at 4,063.5 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings simultaneously reversed downward, each falling by nearly 1 million VND per tael, and were listed at 150.3 million VND per tael and 148.4 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on October 31 continued to decline, falling to 4,000 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices remained unchanged, trading at 147.8 million VND per tael, while SJC gold rings were traded at 145.6 million VND per tael.

Following the downward trend of global gold prices, domestic gold prices also declined sharply on October 24 afternoon. SJC gold bars were traded at 148.5 million VND per tael, down 1.3 million VND from the morning session and 1 million VND compared to yesterday's closing price.

Global gold prices on October 21 remained at elevated levels, trading at 4,297.6 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and rings surged sharply, quoted at 153.9 million VND per tael and 153.3 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on October 8 continued to surge, officially surpassing the 4,000 USD per ounce mark. Following the skyrocketing global trend, domestic gold prices have been rising by the hour. On the afternoon of October 8, SJC gold bars jumped to 142.5 million VND per tael, up 1.9 million VND compared to the previous session’s close. SJC gold rings were sold at 139.5 million VND per tael, an increase of 1.8 million VND from the previous session.

Global gold prices on October 1 continued their upward momentum, reaching 3,859 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars set a new record, trading at 138 million VND per tael, while gold rings also hit a historic peak of 134.1 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on September 26 rose slightly to 3,739 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars were traded at 134.5 million VND per tael, while SJC gold rings fell to 131 million VND per tael.

On September 14, global gold prices rose further, trading at 3,643.4 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC bars and SJC rings remained unchanged from yesterday, listed at 131.1 million VND per tael and 128 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices plunged on September 11, trading at 3,629.3 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, both SJC bars and SJC rings fell sharply, listed at 134.8 million VND per tael and 129.9 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices soared to a new all-time high on September 6, trading at more than 3,587 USD per ounce. Domestically, prices of SJC gold bars and rings also continued to hit new record highs, trading at 135.4 million VND per tael and 130.2 million VND per tael, respectively.
