With its expanded development space, large-scale seaport system, considerable production capacity and vibrant import-export activities, Ho Chi Minh City has favourable conditions to become an international logistics hub. However, high transport costs, poorly integrated transport infrastructure, technological limitations and businesses’ limited capacity to participate in supply chains remain major bottlenecks that need to be addressed.

From a practical perspective, many experts, representatives of business associations, and enterprises believe that for Viet Nam’s private sector to “reach the vast ocean,” it must be empowered by a comprehensive support ecosystem that closely connects policies, overseas trade offices, and the business community.

With its largest-ever scale, the Autumn Fair 2025 has become the focal point for enterprises and localities across the country. Organised for the first time in the capital city under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the event is not only a platform for product exhibition but also a platform for trade connection and for promoting Vietnamese brands to the world.
