In Viet Nam, both SJC-branded gold bars and rings increased by 800,000 VND, trading at 155.7 million VND and 153.9 million VND per tael, respectively.
Gold prices on the late afternoon of November 5 recorded a sharp decline compared with the previous session. Both SJC gold bars and rings fell by 700,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling rates. Specifically, SJC gold bars were listed at 145.5 – 147.5 million VND per tael (buying – selling), while SJC gold rings were listed at 142.7 – 145.2 million VND per tael (buying – selling).
Following the downward trend of global gold prices, domestic gold prices also declined sharply on October 24 afternoon. SJC gold bars were traded at 148.5 million VND per tael, down 1.3 million VND from the morning session and 1 million VND compared to yesterday's closing price.
In the domestic market, SJC-branded gold bars followed the global downtrend on October 22, trading at 148.5 million VND per tael, while gold rings were quoted at 146.5 million VND per tael.
In Vietnam’s domestic market, SJC-branded gold bars surged sharply to 152.2 million VND per tael, while gold rings nearly caught up, reaching 151.5 million VND per tael.
On the afternoon of October 13, global gold prices surged sharply around 4,075 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars set a new record at 144.1 million VND per tael (selling), while SJC gold rings climbed to 141.2 million VND per tael (selling).
On the afternoon of August 4, gold bars reversed course with a 200,000 VND per tael drop in the selling price, while gold rings also recorded a slight decline.
Global gold prices on July 22 continued to remain at a high level amid a weakening USD and escalating trade tensions, trading at 3,389 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and gold ring prices jumped sharply by 500,000 VND per tael, listed at 122 million VND/tael and 117.5 million VND/tael, respectively.
The global gold price on July 17 slightly increased, trading at 3,328 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars remain at a high level of 120.6 million VND/tael, and SJC gold rings are listed at 116.7 million VND/tael.
Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar went down 0.33% to 120.9 million VND per tael, on July 4. Gold ring was steady at 116.8 million VND per tael.
Viet Nam gold prices fell slightly despite global gain on June 19. Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar dropped 0.17% to VND119.4 million per tael. Gold ring declined by 0.09% to VND116 million per tael.
Domestic gold bar and ring prices saw an increase, trading at 118 million VND per tael and 114.4 million VND per tael, respectively.
