Global gold prices climbed sharply on August 6, reaching their highest level in a month at 4,276.5 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars also posted strong gains, with buying and selling prices quoted at 139.7 million VND and 142.7 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued to fall on July 29, dropping to 4,036.5 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices also remained on a downward trend, with buying and selling prices standing at 137.5 million VND/tael and 141.5 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rose to 4,091.5 USD per ounce on July 27. In the domestic market, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 1.5 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices quoted at 139 million VND and 143 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices fell sharply on June 22, trading at 4,208.4 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, both SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings increased by 500,000 VND per tael, reaching 148.6 million VND per tael and 148.5 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued to rise on June 17, trading at USD 4,329.5 per ounce. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices in Viet Nam declined slightly, with buying and selling prices ranging from 148.8 million VND to 151.3 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices rebounded sharply on June 15, trading at 4,337 USD per ounce after a steep decline the previous week. In the domestic market, gold prices also surged in line with global trends, with buying and selling prices quoted at 148-150.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices rose sharply on June 12, trading at 4,223.5 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, gold prices also recorded a strong increase, with buying and selling prices quoted at 142.4 million VND and 145.4 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices edged down on June 3, trading at 4,442.8 USD per ounce, as a stronger US dollar and rising crude oil prices fuelled inflation concerns. In the domestic market, gold prices across major brands fell in tandem, with buying and selling prices ranging from 154 million to 157 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices rebounded on June 2, trading at 4,508.8 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, the price of SJC gold bars fell by 1 million VND per tael, to 157.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices continued to decline on May 18, trading at 4,537.2 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, gold prices of most brands remained unchanged, except for Manh Hai Gold, which fell by 1 million VND/tael.

World gold prices continued to fall on May 16 amid rising inflationary pressure and stronger US Treasury yields, trading at 4,538.2 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings both plunged sharply, listed respectively at 163.5 million VND/tael and 163.3 million VND/tael.

World gold prices on May 13 reversed course and declined, trading at 4,688.2 USD per ounce. Domestically, gold prices also fell in line with global prices, with SJC gold bars decreasing by 500,000 VND to 165 million VND per tael.

Gold prices on May 11 saw unusual movements in the domestic market. Despite no sharp fall in global prices, domestic gold dropped rapidly. SJC gold bars decreased by 2.3 million VND per tael in both buying and selling prices, to 162.2-165.2 million VND per tael. SJC gold rings also fell by 2.3 million VND per tael on both sides.
