Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong has underscored Viet Nam’s desire to expedite the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on labour cooperation with Greece, aimed at creating a clear legal framework for collaboration, and ensuring worker protection in line with both countries’ regulations.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung received First Vice President of the Hellenic Parliament Ioannis Plakiotakis in Ha Noi on March 3, stating that Viet Nam wishes to elevate cooperation with Greece to a new level, commensurate with the potential and strengths of both countries.

The Viet Nam – Greece Days took place from September 4 - 6 in the city of Edessa to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025) and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Nice, France on June 9 on the sidelines of the third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3).
