A conference on boosting trade activities in northern Viet Nam in 2026 took place on September 18 in Dien Bien province.

Amid complex geopolitical developments globally, the logistics sector, both worldwide and in Viet Nam, is being strongly affected by energy shocks and supply chain disruptions. Green transformation has become an urgent requirement, serving both immediate needs and the sector’s long-term strategy.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has signed a decision approving the Viet Nam Logistics Services Development Strategy for 2025–2035 period, with a vision to 2050, which aims to build a sustainable, efficient, and high value-added logistics sector with strong competitiveness, leveraging Viet Nam’s advantages in global supply and value chains.

The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) World Congress 2025 opened on October 8 in Ha Noi, gathering more than 1,000 delegates from over 100 countries and territories under the theme, “Green and Resilient Logistics.”
