Despite efforts and initial results in preventing the harmful effects of tobacco, Viet Nam is still one of the 15 countries with the highest rate of adult male smokers in the world. Smoking is not only the leading cause of death, but also pollutes the environment.

The 3-layer "green zones" were officially launched at Huu Nghi, Tan Thanh and Chi Ma border gates in Cao Loc, Van Lang and Loc Binh districts of Lang Son province, respectively.
