Authorities in Dong Hoa Ward, Dak Lak Province, officially handed over newly built homes to residents affected by severe flooding, in a ceremony jointly organised by the Directorate of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the provincial Department of Construction.

The representative office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Dak Lak Province, under authorisation from the newspaper’s leadership and the Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), coordinated with local chapters of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front to hand over five homes to poor households in remote communes of the province.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the entire political system and the community, tens of thousands of sturdy new houses have been built or renovated under the campaign to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated homes for those who contributed to the revolution.
