Viet Nam regards Japan as one of its most important and long-term strategic partners and a trusted companion in the new era of development, National Assembly (NA) Vice President Nguyen Thi Thanh said while receiving Saito Hiroaki, a member of the Japanese House of Representatives and Chair of its Committee on Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, together with lawmakers from Japan's Liberal Democratic Party and Centrist Reform Alliance, in Ha Noi on September 3.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is bringing about strong changes in vocational schools. AI is not only being introduced into teaching, but also supports schools in governance, training organisation and better services for learners. Amid the rapid development of the digital economy, this is also a direction for improving the quality of human resources training.

Smart urban development, although relatively new to Viet Nam, plays a crucial role in the country's urbanisation process and is prioritised by the Government, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung.
