Viet Nam’s U23 team made an impressive start to the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup finals, defeating U23 Jordan 2-0 on January 6 at King Abdullah Sports City Hall in Saudi Arabia.

King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan and his delegation left Ha Noi on November 13, concluding a two-day official visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong.

Viet Nam and Jordan have great potential to deepen cooperation not only for the benefit of their people but also for the interests of ASEAN and the Middle East, Party General Secretary To Lam said on November 12 during his meeting with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

Located in the heart of the Middle East, to the southeast of the Mediterranean, Jordan experiences hot and dusty summers and cold, dry winters. Although not blessed with abundant natural resources and often facing challenges caused by regional geopolitical instability, Jordan has made consistent efforts to introduce policies aimed at stimulating economic growth.
