Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam noted that the Viet Nam – Laos special relationship is deepening in a more practical and effective manner across areas, delivering tangible benefits to both peoples while contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and development.

To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, together with his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, has successfully concluded a state visit to Laos, which included attending a ceremony marking the 50th National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and co-chairing the high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
