The draft Law on Key Industries is designed to foster key industries in line with advances in science and technology, innovation, and the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a view to building an independent, self-reliant, and resilient industrial sector that drives rapid and sustainable economic growth.

The government has issued Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP approving the policy of the Law on Key Industries.
