Amid the wave of artificial intelligence (AI), green transition, and population ageing that is changing the global employment structure, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has warned that without stronger investment in lifelong learning, millions of workers risk being left behind in their own economies.

The Viet Nam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) officially launched its online portal at hoikhuyenhoc.vn, marking an important milestone in its digital transformation journey and its efforts to build a lifelong learning society in the new era.

Lifelong learning must be seen not only as an individual need but also as the key to raising intellectual standards, building human resources, and driving innovation and breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, helping every citizen become a useful member of society.

Building Viet Nam into a nation of lifelong learning, in which every citizen has the opportunity to learn and is encouraged to learn throughout life, is not only a humanitarian goal, but also an important requirement to enhance national competitiveness, develop human resources and reinforce the nation's internal strength, State President Luong Cuong has said.
