With the goal of preserving genetic resources and expanding cultivation areas, Da Nang City is gradually realising its aspiration of making Ngoc Linh ginseng a high-value key economic product.

At the end of February 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 463/QD-TTg approving the establishment of the Quang Nam Medicinal Herb Industrial Centre, designating Ngoc Linh ginseng as its flagship crop. The centre aims to create a large-scale, modern, integrated complex covering research, cultivation, deep processing and the commercialisation of medicinal herbs.
