Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has sent a condolence message to his Mozambican counterpart Maria Benvinda Levy over the passing of former Prime Minister Luísa Dias Diogo.

International media, including outlets from Russia and Mozambique, have highlighted the strategic importance of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), which began its first working day in Ha Noi on January 19.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Chan Thi Thu Thin held a working session with Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mozambique Adelino Manuel Muchanga to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the judicial field and support the protection of Vietnamese citizens and legal entities in Mozambique.

Prime Minister of Mozambique Maria Benvinda Delfina Levi has emphasised the special relationship between Mozambique and Viet Nam, saying the two countries not only share views and visions on many issues but also have geographical, socio-economic similarities that enable them to complement each other, during her reception for Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin.

A Mozambican official has expressed the desire to continue promoting practical cooperation with Vietnam at a recent ceremony marking Vietnam ’s National Day in Maputo.
