National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man met with leaders of major Republic of Korea (RoK) conglomerates investing in Viet Nam during his official visit to the country on the afternoon of September 8.

National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man and his spouse, together with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, are paying official visits to the RoK and Mongolia from September 6 to 11, at the invitation of Speaker of the NA of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Cho Jeong Sik and his spouse, and Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia Sandag Byambatsogt and his spouse.

National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man on August 29 presented Party-membership badges to veteran members in Ho Chi Minh City in recognition of their long-standing contributions to the revolutionary cause and the Party.

The programme contributed to educating younger generations about their responsibility to preserve and build on the achievements of the revolution, while fostering a spirit of enthusiasm and patriotic emulation and encouraging officials, Party members and people from all walks of life to harness the strength of great national unity to join hands in building and firmly safeguarding the nation.

A State memorial service and burial ceremony for Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Politburo member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of the Lao National Assembly, was solemnly held at That Luang Square in Vientiane on August 12.
