Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has signed Decision No. 978/QD-TTg promulgating the operating regulations of the National Committee for APEC 2027.

Under Decision No. 938/QD-TTg, Permanent Deputy PM Pham Gia Tuc serves as Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2027 while Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung is appointed Vice Chairman.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has requested strengthened communication efforts and the early development of Viet Nam’s APEC national branding, while chairing the first plenary session of the National Committee for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) activities in 2027 in Ha Noi on August 21.
