First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and his spouse Lis Cuesta Peraza laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on August 31 afternoon.

A press centre was inaugurated in Ha Noi on August 26 as part of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025) and the National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).

The second joint rehearsal for military parade and march for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) took place on August 24 at Ba Dinh Square, Ha Noi. This was the final rehearsal before the State-level preliminary review on the evening of August 27.
