By the end of April 2026, the total outstanding credit in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai reached over 6.03 quadrillion VND, an increase of 3.84% compared to the end of 2025, accounting for 31.1% of the total outstanding credit nationwide. This is the highest outstanding credit ever recorded in the two southern economic hubs.

Ha Noi granted business registration licenses to more than 2,283 newly-established firms with a total registered capital of 33.7 trillion VND (1.29 billion USD) in May, sharply surging by 53.3% in capital compared to the same period last year, according to the municipal Department of Planning and Investment.
