The prime minister has issued Decision No. 1852/QD-TTg promulgating a plan to implement the Petroleum Law.

The Office of the President held a press conference in Ha Noi on September 10 to announce the President’s orders promulgating 15 laws adopted by the National Assembly (NA) at its first extraordinary session.

After three years of implementing the 2022 Petroleum Law, practice shows that many obstacles remain, affecting the progress of procedures in petroleum activities. The draft amended Petroleum Law is expected to improve the legal framework, simplify procedures and increase enterprises’ autonomy, thereby unlocking resources and accelerating the development of the energy industry.
