Cyberspace has become “fertile ground” for terrorist and extremist organisations around the world to spread violent ideologies and recruit followers.

The digital environment helps children access knowledge, learn, interact, and integrate into the community quickly, as well as develop their creativity. However, amidst this “ocean” of information, children need guidance and knowledge to be able to select what is beneficial and stay away from harmful elements.

At the second plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee, General Secretary To Lam reaffirmed the Party’s policy on ensuring national defence, security, foreign affairs, and international integration in the new context, emphasising the need for strategic autonomy, risk management capacity, robust institutions, stable social order, deep international integration, and strong resilience to both traditional and non-traditional security shocks.
