The first congress of the National Assembly (NA) Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 tenure opened in Ha Noi on September 25 with the participation of 297 delegates representing more than 2,800 Party members across the organisation.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on April 7 chaired a meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat on a project reviewing the implementation of a resolution on building the contingent of intellectuals in the period of accelerating industrialisation and modernisation.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on March 9 chaired a conference on the implementation of the Government’s action programme materialising a directive by the Party Central Committee 's Secretariat on economic diplomacy and its key tasks this year.
