World gold prices fell to 4,114 USD per ounce on October 21 amid market expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will continue to raise interest rates in the coming period. In Viet Nam, SJC gold bar prices declined for the third consecutive session, falling to 142.3 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices fell to 4,187.1 USD per ounce on October 13. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices declined in tandem with global rates, traded at 144.3 million VND per tael and 143.8 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices on October 6 continued to decline to 4,125.9 USD per ounce, as expectations that interest rates will remain high continued to support US Treasury yields. Domestically, SJC gold bars and rings remained unchanged for the third consecutive session, quoted at 143.5 million VND and 143 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices recovered on September 30 following a sharp decline in the previous session, trading at around 4,175 USD per ounce amid a sharp rise in Treasury yields and a stronger US dollar. In Viet Nam, SJC gold bar prices increased by 1 million VND, with selling prices reaching 143.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices reversed course and rose sharply on September 12, driven by strong dip-buying demand from investors following the steep decline in the previous session, trading at 4,347.7 USD per ounce.
In Viet Nam, SJC gold bar and ring prices rose in line with the global market, with prices quoted at 146 million VND per tael and 145.5 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices rose to 4,417.3 USD per ounce on September 10, as the US dollar continued to weaken and safe-haven demand for the precious metal increased. In Viet Nam, SJC gold bars and gold rings remained unchanged, quoted at 146.6 million VND and 146.1 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued to decline on September 9, trading at 4,394.7 USD per ounce amid a sharp rise in crude oil prices, high treasury yields and market concerns over the possibility of interest rate hikes. Domestically, gold prices fell by more than 1 million VND, with SJC gold bars quoted at 143.6-146.6 million VND per tael for buying and selling, respectively.

World gold prices fell sharply to 4,431.1 USD per ounce on September 5, amid a rebound in the US dollar and US Treasury bond yields. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and gold rings fell sharply in line with world prices, quoted at 147.6 million VND per tael and 147.1 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices edged down on August 28 after a strong recovery in recent days, trading at 4,584 USD per ounce. Domestic gold bar and ring prices also declined in line with global prices, with SJC gold bars selling at 149.7 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices remained unchanged on August 26, trading at 4,635 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, gold bars and gold rings also held steady after a strong run of gains, with selling prices standing at 150.3 million VND/tael.

World gold prices surged sharply on August 20, trading at 4,483.5 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices rose by 3.8 million VND per tael, listed at 146 million VND/tael and 145.5 million VND/tael, respectively.

After several sessions of sharp declines, domestic gold prices unexpectedly reversed course and rose on August 15. SJC gold bars and rings were traded at 144 million VND/tael and 143.5 million VND/tael, respectively.
