The State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) must bring into full play its professional expertise and effectively tap information from multiple sources to proactively advise the Party and State, instead of merely organising audit delegations, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man has said.

Regarding the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and other negative practices, during the 2021–2026 tenure, the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) provided 1,749 reports and documents to competent agencies to serve inspection, investigation, and supervision activities, nearly four times higher than in the previous tenure.

The development strategy to 2030 and the specialised Resolution No. 90-NQ/DU issued by the Party Committee of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) on "leadership over promoting the application of high technology in audit operations" affirm that the application of information technology will form the foundation for a significant transformation of the sector in the digital era.

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man has urged the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) to promote the application of science and high technology, especially information technology and artificial intelligence, to auditing activities to create a breakthrough in audit quality and efficiency.
