In 2025, the global situation continued to be volatile, affecting the socio-economic development speed of localities. However, thanks to proactively and flexibly implementing solutions to nurture revenue sources and ensure the production and service chain, the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh all exceeded their budget revenue targets.

Total state budget collection in the first five months of 2025 was estimated to reach 1,139 trillion VND (43.76 billion USD), equivalent to 57.9% of the yearly estimate, representing a year-on-year rise of almost 24.5%, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

State budget collection in the January-September period was estimated at over 1.32 quadrillion VND (55.9 billion USD ), reaching 94% of the yearly target, and up 22% from the same period last year, according to Deputy Finance Minister Nguyen Duc Chi.
