The state visits by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam to Australia and New Zealand from August 9-14 have created fresh momentum for elevating Viet Nam’s relations with the two countries, while opening up new avenues for cooperation in science and technology, innovation, education, trade, investment and sustainable development, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung said.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on August 9 departed Ha Noi for state visits to Australia and New Zealand, which will run through August 14.

General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam To Lam, together with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, has successfully concluded State visits to the Republic of India and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
