Viet Nam rolls out national child protection programme through 2030

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra has signed a decision approving the national programme on child protection, and child labour prevention and reduction for 2026–2030, aiming to ensure that every child grows up in a safe and healthy environment while strengthening support for vulnerable children and advancing the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to children.

The UN Ocean Conference 2025 aims to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals on the marine environment.

Risk of missing Sustainable Development Goals

The world has entered a full 10 years on the journey towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, according to a recently released United Nations report, only 35% of SDGs are on track or have made certain progress. Many goals have even regressed, putting the world at risk of missing the SDGs.
