Amid the global trends of green transition and digital transformation, the 24th ASEAN Federation of Accountants Conference (AFA 24) delivered a powerful message: “Green Action, Sustainable Development”.

State President Luong Cuong delivered a keynote speech at the High-Level General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) in New York on September 23 (local time), highlighting a message of honouring the value of peace, driving bold transformation to shape a sustainable future.

The demand for energy to serve industrialisation and urbanisation is rising, while the goal of reducing carbon emissions has become an international commitment. Therefore, nuclear power, with its advantages of large scale and stable operation, is a strategic choice helping Viet Nam to build a green and sustainable future.

Promoting green and sustainable marketing and consumption is not only a trend but also an inevitable requirement for Viet Nam to integrate deeply in the future. At the same time, this is also one of the mandatory requirements to meet the development of the new era economy.

The exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre in Ha Noi's Dong Anh commune under the theme “80 years of agricultural and environmental development for national prosperity and sustainable future”.
