Viet Nam and Cambodia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and traditional friendship during a series of high-level meetings in Phnom Penh on March 30.

Party General Secretary To Lam’s state visit to Laos is one of Viet Nam’s most significant foreign affairs activities in 2025. The visit reaffirms the strong resolve of the two countries’ leaders to continue preserving, nurturing, and promoting the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos.

Party General Secretary To Lam, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, are paying an official visit to Bulgaria from October 22 - 24, at the invitation of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. The visit contributes to deepening the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The visit helped generate new momentum and strengthen the traditional friendship between Viet Nam and the DPRK, Vu said, noting that the two leaders spent considerable time reviewing the long-standing relationship, established by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung, and expressed mutual appreciation for the support provided to each other in the past.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreaign Affairs Ngo Le Van and Marek Estok, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, who is on a working visit to Viet Nam, co-chaired the Viet Nam - Slovalia political consultation in Ha Noi on July 9.

Building on a solid foundation of traditional friendship, economic complementarity, and strong political commitment from both sides, Viet Nam-Italy relations are expected to further develop more strongly, practically and comprehensively in the coming time, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Duong Hai Hung.
