For more than a decade, artists of Dong Kinh Co Nhac (Ancient Music Group of Tonkin) have devoted themselves to preserving these melodies, helping traditional Vietnamese music maintain a lasting presence in contemporary life.

In recent days, while participating in “Sing! Asia” – a music “arena” bringing together over 30 young singers from nine Asian countries and territories – Gen Z singer Phuong My Chi has ignited a sense of national pride. She impressed not only by making it to the finals but also by her way of spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture through music.

For many young artists today, tradition is not only a sustainable cultural foundation but also a vibrant source of inspiration—an active dialogue that fuels the creation of new artistic forms within the contemporary flow.
