Typhoon Ragasa weakened to a tropical depression and further into a low-pressure area on the afternoon of September 25 as it made landfall in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

Typhoon Ragasa is likely to weaken into a tropical depression when it lands the northeastern part of North Viet Nam on September 25 afternoon.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) issued an urgent directive on September 23 requiring relevant units in the aviation sector to proactively respond to Typhoon Ragasa.
