Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang on May 29 led a delegation from the Government and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee to visit and extend congratulations to the Executive Board of the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and prominent Buddhist dignitaries on the occasion of Vesak 2026 (Buddhist Calendar 2570).

The Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee's Board for Cultural Affairs has announced that Vesak Celebrations 2026 will take place in Da Lat of Lam Dong province, featuring 15 experiential activities combining Buddhist rituals with cultural, artistic and community programmes.
