Emerging from the battlefield, many war veterans have gone on to become entrepreneurs, establishing major business groups, creating jobs for thousands of workers and dedicating substantial resources to social welfare. In the marketplace, they continue to embody the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers: resilience, discipline, responsibility and a commitment to leaving no one behind.

The 7th National Congress of the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association (VWVA) will take place from December 29-31, heard a press conference held in Hanoi on December 20.
