In light of the risk that drug traffickers may exploit cross-border trade activities, the Customs Department has stepped up awareness-raising efforts at the Khanh Binh and Vinh Xuong border crossings in An Giang Province, helping residents and businesses recognise criminal tactics and take proactive preventive measures.

The Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, organised a communications, arts, and discussion programme on drug prevention and control for workers at industrial parks, and launched the campaign “Vietnamese workers say No to drugs: Millions of hearts, one determination” at the Viet Tiep Friendship Cultural Palace in Hai Phong City on the evening of September 18.
