The central city of Da Nang will step up efforts to boost MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) tourism in 2026 through a renewed promotion programme, aiming to reinforce its position as a leading professional and appealing MICE destination in Viet Nam and the region.
With its striking natural scenery, rich cultural heritage, convenient transport links and year-round sunshine, the south central province of Khanh Hoa is pulling in crowds of travelers, both domestic and international, over the four-day 2026 New Year holiday.
Divided into three chapters with dozens of meticulously staged performances, the programme created a vibrant and emotionally rich atmosphere. The blend of tradition and modernity, powerful voices, and the solemn resonance of the symphony orchestra gave the show its distinctive hallmark.
Ha Noi received around 2.08 million visitors during the four-day National Day holidays from August 30 to September 2, three times higher than the figure in the same period last year, the municipal Department of Tourism reported.
Ha Noi welcomed an estimated 2.8 million visitors in July, up over 10% year-on-year, of which international arrivals surged by 25.2% to 553,000, while domestic visitors reached 2.25 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) is drawing to a close, with the grand finale scheduled for the evening of July 12. As one of the city’s most anticipated events, the festival has attracted large crowds of locals and tourists alike. Over the course of the month-long event, Da Nang recorded an estimated 1.17 million overnight visitors, marking an increase of nearly 10.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
