According to a report by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local accommodation facilities served approximately 1.17 million visitors during the DIFF 2025 qualifying rounds from May 31 to June 30, representing a year-on-year increase of almost 10.3%.
In particular, the first five fireworks nights alone attracted nearly 400,000 visitors, equivalent to the total number of attendees during the entire DIFF 2024 season.
In June 2025, the city’s revenue from accommodation, food & beverage, and travel services was estimated at around 3.869 trillion VND (approximately 152 million USD), an impressive 22% growth compared to the same period in 2024.
Hotel occupancy rates across the city remained high, ranging from 80% to 85%. Notably, 4- to 5-star hotels and properties located in central and coastal areas consistently reached occupancy levels between 85% and 90%.
According to the organisers, the DIFF 2025 was held on a larger scale than in previous years, featuring an additional competition night. As a result, the number of tourists to the city is expected to surge even further during the grand finale on July 12, with a projected increase of 15–20%.

The latest figures show that in the run-up to the finale, many high-end hotels have reported being fully booked. Citywide occupancy is forecast to hit 90–95% during this peak period.
In particular, 4- to 5-star hotels in central and beachfront areas with prime views of the fireworks are expected to reach 100% capacity.
On the night of July 12, the Han River will once again light up, not only with fireworks but also with the emotional power of music and performances by top artists gathering for the DIFF 2025 grand finale.
