The first-ever writing contest featuring Vietnamese students in the Republic of Korea (RoK) was held at Kyung Hee University in Seoul on December 6, becoming a highlight in efforts to foster cultural ties between the two countries.

The liaison board of the “For Viet Nam’s Seas and Islands” network in Europe on June 29 held an award ceremony in Berlin for the “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands” writing and painting contest.

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on December 13 to honour individuals with outstanding writings highlighting the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
