The event is being hosted by the Center for Statistics and Science and Technology Information (CESTI) under the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Department of Science and Technology, attracting nearly 200 technologies from 87 enterprises, institutes and schools.
Techmart in agriculture and postharvest technology 2022 focuses on introducing new technology trends, technologies suitable to the production situation in Vietnam in the fields of preservation, the processing of agricultural products and food, and high technology in the field of agriculture, breeding plant varieties and livestock. In particular, nearly 20% of the technologies being introduced are digital transformation technologies to improve productivity and quality of agricultural products.
Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, said that the city's Department of Science and Technology assigned CESTI to organise the event in order to facilitate and support the participation of products and technologies from research institutes, universities and enterprises to serve the needs of technology application in the production and business of enterprises.
Techmart is also an opportunity for startups to find investment and cooperation partners to develop their products, innovative ideas and business development.
The organising board hopes that Techmart in agriculture and post-harvest technology will promote technology application and innovation as well as supporting the process of exchanging, buying and selling, transferring technology and attracting more investors in this area.
