The campaign is organised by the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin (VAVA) and the National Humanitarian Portal 1400.

By texting “DA CAM” to 1409, each mobile text message will contribute 20,000 VND to support AO/dioxin victims.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, VAVA Chairman Nguyen Van Rinh noted that money raised through the campaign proves the affection and responsibility of the whole community for AO/dioxin victims.

The campaign also helps both Vietnamese people and international friends learn more about the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam and the country’s efforts to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam.

At the ceremony, the organising board presented ten wheelchairs to AO/dioxin victims.
