The event is designed as a vibrant multi-experience that combines elements of the culture, the community, technology, and sustainability.
Speaking at a press briefing on October 31, Nguyen Ky Phung, Vice Chairman of the Thu Duc People’s Committee, said City Tet Fest aims to promote the values of modernity, civilisation, and creativity while honouring Vietnam’s traditional heritages.
The event also seeks to boost year-end demand for shopping, entertainment, and leisure among locals, while advertising the tourism potential and culture of Thu Duc City to both domestic and foreign visitors.
The highlight of the festival are two concert nights on December 28 and 31, bringing together talented international artists and Vietnam's top singers, who will entertain audiences with both traditional and modern performances.
The festival will also feature an exhibition entitled ‘See You Tet Sound’ — an innovative art initiative created as a space for young artists to experiment with ideas, blending the cultural essence of the traditional New Year festival with contemporary language.
