The request was made by Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education, during a meeting with the provincial Party Committee on May 8.
He also urged the province to continue studying and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh and combat against incorrect arguments by hostile forces.
During the meeting, Thuong praised the province’s results in its Party-building work and in implementing the Party Charter, while pointing out drawbacks that need to be resolved.
He noted that the Party Committee of Tien Giang needs to continue to reform its leadership method and encourage the spirit of daring to think and act on the basis of the Party and State’s laws and regulations.
The head of the education commission also asked the province to hold citizen receptions and dialogues in a proper manner and deal with citizen complaints in a substantive fashion in the spirit of openness and transparency.
