VFF President presents gifts to war invalids in Ha Nam

A delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee led by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the VFF Central Committee Do Van Chien visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Centre in Ha Nam Province on July 19, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27).

On behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, VFF President Do Van Chien expressed deep gratitude to the wounded and sick soldiers along with people with meritorious services to the revolution.

He emphasised that the Party and State always attach importance to refining policies for those who rendered their services to the nation.

He asked the provincial authorities to pay more attention to nursing centres for war invalids, affirming that the Party and State always attach importance to refining the policies for those who have rendered their services to the nation.

Duy Tien Nursing Centre, one of the five stations under the watch of the MoLISA, was established in May 1957.

It now provides care for seriously wounded and sick soldiers with injury severity from 81 % and above, including three females. The oldest patient is 90 years old and the youngest is 50.

Founded in 1976, Kim Bang Nursing Centre id currently caring for 58 soldiers from 13 cities and provinces.
